Abstract Compositions

As a youth I didn't appreciate abstract art. After I began painting, however, it did not take long for me to truly understand the value of simple line and color combinations. I often wake it the night with my mind flooded with diverse images I cannot comprehend. I feel my subconscious is communicating with my and I respect that need for expression. As such, my abstract pieces do not adhere to one particular "style". You will see a wide variety of compositions and color choices. I frequently favor the use of a highly textural base and/or sweeping color blends.
